Chaos has befallen the world, and there is only one safe haven: France
Prophets had warned weeks before of the upcoming disaster, yet some didn't have the time or the money to flee to safety. Others, like with many 'end of the world' prophecies, simply didn't believe and brushed it off as the next Y2K or 2012 hoax: But this one was real, and this one left billions dead.
It happened on the night of March 23rd, 2020, and it lasted only 30 minutes to devastate 194 nations around the globe.
There were signs.. now only those who listened have survived
After the Great Quake of 2020, the people of France are slowly trying to rebuild their lives. Natives and refugees alike are barely starting to come out from the government set-up camps to try and piece together what to do. France itself suffered the least of the damage, but all around the world the rest of the 194 nations are devastated and billions left dead. Not a single person outside of the country is known to be alive, and now the European nation is left 'quarantined', unable to leave or speak to any loved ones that may remain on the other side of the towering country walls.
People are put in 'teams' by the government in an effort to bring people together; however, some sense there is something more sinister behind these randomly arranged groups of people. France's own president was killed during the quake, so just who is in charge now? How are these 'teams' supposed to help the people put together their lives? So many questions arise, yet the people are simply glad to be alive. Instead of retaliating over the government, the very ones who have offered them shelter and food, everyone tries to keep living in their make-shift 'teams', or as those truly devastated like to call them, families..
So tell me, you seemed to have survived the Great Quake. Are you government spy living among the teams? Are you a French native, trying to keep living a normal life with all new chaos? Or are you an outsider, struggling with the language and trying to find your loved ones in a sea of confusion?
Either way, only one thing really matters now.
